About the Download

Essays must be written and submitted in the attached essay template and follow these guidelines:
 
Must be written in the first person.
The personal experience used in writing experiential learning essays must have occurred post high school or after date GED® was granted.
Use 12-point, Times New Roman font and double-space the document.
Address the four sections of Kolb’s Model.  Must be used and followed completely.  There are 6 subtopics attached that should cover each of the below sections:
Section 1. Concrete experience
Section 2.  Reflective observation
Section 3.  Abstract conceptualization
Section 4.  Active experimentation
 
Example:  Section 1 Concrete experience should include, subtopic 1, subtopic 2, subtopic 3, subtopic 4, subtopic 5 and subtopic 6. Section 2 Reflective observation should include,  subtopic 1, subtopic 2, subtopic 3, subtopic 4, subtopic 5 and subtopic 6. Section 3 Abstract conceptualization should include,  subtopic 1, subtopic 2, subtopic 3, subtopic 4, subtopic 5 and subtopic 6.  Section 4 Active experimentation should include,  subtopic 1, subtopic 2, subtopic 3, subtopic 4, subtopic 5 and subtopic 6.
 
The topic must represent personal experience from my autobiography — not history, research, or observation. The essay should demonstrate a high level of expertise.
