Based on the following scenario, please share your thoughts regarding Sally’s situation.

My current salary is on the higher end for my peers who do the same job, as well as similar positions in other companies. Until recently, I have considered this one of the most important factors why I continue to work where I work. I also work close to home and it is very convenient for me when it comes to work, school, and family. However over the last year, I have experienced difficulty getting along with my boss, as well as other business partners in my area. Some of the long time people I worked with have either transferred or moved on to other companies. I see my peers leaving at an alarming rate, simply because they are having the same issues I am having with my boss. I have stayed because of my location in proximity to my home as well as my current salary. At this point, I am ready to move on despite the fact that I know I will have a difficult time finding a new position with the same pay and convenient location to home as my current job. I truly did not realize how important the people you work with and the people you work for are when it comes to job satisfaction.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What advice can you share with Sally on this topic?
