As we exchange ideas regarding Pay and Incentive Systems, there is also the importance of equity, which leads to an interesting additional discussion regarding confidentiality as it relates to equity in the workplace.
 
 
 
For many of those in the workplace, it is against company policy to discuss salary and pay information, yet many employees continue to divulge this information to their co-workers. In most situations, both of the individuals, the provider or the receiver of the information, become upset and this often leads to unnecessary feelings of inequity in the workplace.
 
 
 
Please share your thoughts and experience regarding this.
